One of the easiest ways to reduce excess watering and runoff is to install a SmartTimer.  SMWD customers can apply to receive a free SmartTimer device that will accommodate individual residential properties, as well as small HOA properties. Installation of the SmartTimer is also included, so don’t delay in applying as quantities are limited.

Q. What kind of Smart Timers are offered as part of this Program?
A. The Program includes the following Weather Based Irrigation Smart Timers.  For specific product information about these devices, click on Hunter Solar Sync. and  Weathermatic Smartline.

Q. What are the eligibility requirements?
A. You must currently water with an automatic, in-ground irrigation system utilizing a standard irrigation time-clock. The program is open to sites with up to 16 stations/zones/valves.

Q. How much will this cost?
A. So long as your existing irrigation system is in good working order, the devices and standard installation are free as part of the program.

 

Q. How will I know if my system is in good shape?
A. As part of the Program’s Standard Installation, the Installer will perform a system evaluation, letting you know up front if any repairs are needed.  System repairs are not covered as part of this Program.
