|As of February 1, 2016, the Santa Margarita Water District implemented a new budget-based rate structure. In an effort to ensure accuracy at all levels of the new process, there was a delay in distributing February water bills. The regular billing cycle will resume in March, so you may receive your March bill within days of receiving your February bill. You have 25 days from the date printed on each bill to pay the respective water bill and no late fees will be incurred during that period. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. With the quick and convenient E.BILL online bill pay program, you can sign up to pay your bills online with a credit card or checking account and stop receiving paper bills. Or you can make a one-time payment without setting up an E.BILL account.

You can drop off your payments after hours at the night-drop mailbox located outside SMWD headquarters, near the circular driveway. Payments will be recorded the next business day.
