For your convenience, SMWD provides five ways for you to pay your water bill.

1. E.BILL Online Payment: With the quick and convenient E.BILL online bill pay program, you can sign up to pay your bills online with a credit card or checking account and stop receiving paper bills. Or you can make a one-time payment without setting up an E.BILL account.
   
   
2. Via Mail: Mail your payment made payable to Santa Margarita Water District, with the bottom portion of your bill to:

3. In Person: Bring your payment to the lobby area at District headquarters:

4. Direct Pay: Available to all residential and business customers billed by SMWD, Direct Pay automatically deducts the amount of your water bill from your checking account 10 days after the bill date. Click here for more information or for an application, or call (949) 459-6420.
   
   
5. After Hours: You can drop off your payments after hours at the night-drop mailbox located outside SMWD headquarters, near the circular driveway. Payments will be recorded the next business day.
