The 45-day public comment period on the Upper Chiquita Reservoir draft EIR closed on March 28th.

The draft Environmental Impact Report can be reviewed by accessing the links below. However, please note that the public comment period ended March 28th.

The draft EIR was prepared over several months by a team of expert scientists and engineers. It studies the existing environment, and analyzes potential impacts the reservoir may have on the surrounding community and the environment. The report also outlines a series of measures (“mitigations”) for SMWD and its partners to take that would reduce or eliminate these impacts. Please click below to download the report.
